Tooele Shooting Supply, LLC. is more than happy to ship firearms to your local Federally Licensed Firearms dealer, provided the transaction falls within the guidelines of local, state, and federal laws.
In an attempt to keep the overall cost of our products as low as possible, we try to maintain a simple shipping policy.
METHOD OF SHIPPING:
We primarily ship merchandise via UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail. Long guns are shipped via UPS ground, and handguns via USPS Priority mail. Unless otherwise specified, you will get tracking info e-mailed to you once the firearm is shipped. If you require 2nd Day or Next-Day service, this is available for an additional cost (you will be charged actual freight). Please call for details. We try to ship all orders within 48 hours after the order has been completely processed (payment and dealer’s FFL having been received).
Unless otherwise stated, we charge a flat-rate fee of $9.95 to ship handguns or long guns to the lower 48 states. Some guns are larger/ heavier than most, so we will specifically list shipping charges for those particular guns. Insurance for the full value of the product is included on all shipments at no extra charge. Please note: Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is not included in this flat rate offer, and will be determined at the time the order is processed and prepared for shipment. Please feel free to contact us prior to placing an order, and we would be happy to provide you with a shipping quote to these locations.
RETURNS & ORDER CANCELLATION:
Returns are only accepted for merchandise found defective immediately upon receipt, and BEFORE accepting the transfer from your FFL dealer. If you believe a firearm is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with a detailed explanation of the problem so we can determine the best course of action. For damaged or defective firearms, Tooele Shooting Supply, LLC will provide your choice of replacement item (pending availability) or full refund and pay the return shipping cost of the firearm.
Important Note: Please take time to inspect all firearms BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a firearm is transferred to you, it is considered used, even if unfired. As such, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds or repairs, or be held responsible for any missing parts or accessories on ANY firearm once it has been transferred to you! We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. However, upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm must be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees of returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer.
Please note: From time to time, manufacturers make changes to their products and specifications, including the accessories included with the firearm or changes to the firearms themselves. While we always strive to maintain a completely accurate website, we are not responsible for errors or omissions in our images or product descriptions. Please contact us if you have any questions about a product BEFORE placing an order.
Customers are responsible for verifying that the firearm they order is legal in their city and state. If a firearm is ordered by a customer, and shipped to a city or state where it is not legal, and your dealer is not willing or legally able to transfer the firearm, the customer will be charged a 15% re-stocking fee. If you are in doubt about the legality of a specific firearm, please contact the dealer who you plan to use for the transfer, BEFORE you place your order.
Cancellation of an order for any reason once the firearm has been shipped is subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. The firearm is considered shipped when a tracking number has been assigned and the order status has been updated to “Completed”.
If a customer is declined on their ATF Form 4473, they will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee to ship the firearm back to us. Please make sure you are legally allowed to own a firearm before attempting to purchase one.
If for any reason you cancel a layaway plan, or are more than five days past due on your next payment, we reserve the right to cancel your order and re-list the item. Additionally, you will be charged a 15% order cancellation/ re-stocking fee on the full purchase price of the firearm, unless other arrangements have been made in writing with Tooele Shooting Supply, LLC. Due to the nature of layaway plans, we are not able to change items on layaway easily, and this will also result in a 15% re-stocking fee for the original item. Please be sure you want the item before starting a layaway plan.
Please note: We constantly strive to offer the lowest possible prices to our customers, and occasionally, products may be put on sale, and our prices may fluctuate due to changes in market demand as well as changes in the wholesale cost of products. When you place an item on layaway, we will honor the price of the firearm at the time it was placed on layaway. We are not able retroactively discount products that are currently on layaway.
We are happy to assist our customers with special orders for products that are not currently in stock. Please send us a message through our “Contact Us” page with a description of the product, Manufacturer Part Number (if possible) or a link to the product on another site, and we will try to get back to you within 24 hours with availability and price.
All special orders require a 20% Non-Refundable deposit at the time the order is placed. Under no circumstances are we able to place a special order without this deposit. We only accept special orders for products that are currently in stock or on the way from one of our suppliers, and we expect customers to follow through once the firearm has been delivered.
PICK UP IN-STORE ORDERS:
Please contact us after placing your order and let us know when you would like to stop by to complete the transaction. Our current hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 11am to 7pm, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. All Pick Up In-Store orders must be picked up within 2 weeks (10 Business Days). Pick Up In-Store orders that have not been picked up within 2 weeks (10 Business Days) will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee (unless other arrangements have been agreed upon prior to making your purchase).
Tooele Shooting Supply, LLC. will ship a firearm ONLY to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means we cannot ship directly to you (unless you have an FFL). It is the responsibility of the firearm buyer to contact the FFL dealer prior to order fulfillment and confirm the dealers policies, procedures, and any applicable fees they might charge. Upon completion of payment, and after we have received a copy of your dealers FFL, we will transfer your purchased firearm to the dealer you specified. It is your responsibility to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer.
Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transaction fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer. It is your responsibility to check with your local dealer concerning any policy of this kind and concerning your obligations. You do not pay Tooele Shooting Supply, LLC. the transfer fee. By purchasing a firearm from us you acknowledge that you may have to pay your dealer a fee for transferring the gun to you. Under no circumstances will Tooele Shooting Supply, LLC be liable for reimbursement of this fee.
